This bar combines Diatomaceus Earth to kill fleas, lice, mites and ticks with Calcium Bentonite to improve coat appearance, and Castor Oil to condition the skin. It is long lasting, with an excellent lather. I noticed commercial soaps made our pets miserable and they immediately started wallowing on the ground to try to remove the odor. The chemical soaps seemed to kill the fleas, but caused a bigger problem with scratching from skin irritation and allergic reactions, plus the pet stunk!

Unlike chemical pet products, Diatomaceous Earth is safe to ingest when the animal bathes its coat, and in fact should be ingested by the pet for its many health benefits. If you buy DE, just make sure it is “food grade” before you shake a little on their food. The essential oils are added for their therapeutic application on skin and coat health as well as a deterrent to fleas, ticks, mites and lice, while not strong enough to irritate the pet’s sensitive scent glands.

Ingredients: 5% Superfatting of: Castor Oil with Chamomile Flowers, Mango Extract, Cucumber Peel Extract, Calcium Bentonite Clay, Neem Oil, Burdock Root, Diatomaceous Earth, Citric Acid (citrus fruit), Triple Pressed Vegetable Stearic Acid from palm added to a base of: Coconut Oil, Soya Bean Oil, Sodium Lactate from sugar beets, Sodium Hydroxide and Filtered Water. Also contains “Purpose Blended” essential oils of: Cedarwood Atlas, Eucalyptus Globulus, Long Leaf Pine, Tunisian Rosemary and Fir Needle.
